Port Canaveral Round Trip

by The Struna Family

Yes, we are back. We had a great time. The weather didn’t cooperate in Florida, but by the time we reached Cococay, it was nice. It didn’t get cold again until the afternoon on Saturday. We loved it. We rode the jet skis in Cococay, took a Jeep tour on St. Thomas, took an ATV tour and shopped in St. Martin. We did it all!! (Thank God for the credit we got). We took advantage of all the wonderful shows on the ship and made a great friend in our waiter, Igor from Russia.

The Promenade Staterooms were very nice. We got front row seats for the parades. I think that in the future, I would go for a balcony room. They are bigger, and it would be nice to sit outside while you are waiting for someone else to get ready. Anyway, I have no complaints. We had enough room, and it was nice to have them adjoining. Our room was very quiet. We even had problems hearing the announcements. (I know about the speaker thing, but when we didn’t have it on we could barely hear.)

We sat at a table for four, and it was really nice. We got invited to one of the specialty restaurants for a free glass of champagne for our anniversary, but we didn’t want to miss our regular dining with Igor. Thanks. We didn’t have dinner anywhere else, but took advantage of the late night pizza and snacks in the coffee house. I made sure that I got my caramel latte every night. It was good!

The transfers went well. The reps were great. Overall, we were very impressed. They do a great job of making everyone happy. The only negatives that I have were that you could not hear announcements from the decks outside and the casino smoke got to me. Everything else was wonderful. Thanks for all your help in getting this set up for us.
